James Ochieng Nyambok, a Kenyan resident in Stockholm, has passed away after a long sickness which led to kidney failure. According to information gathered by Kisumu City News, the late Ochieng passed away at Söder Hospital in Stockholm where he had been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit. Six schools in Kisumu County will not be able to open because they are submerged in water. By January 1st 2021, all buses will be banned within Kisumu’s Central Business district (CBD). According to acting city manager Abala Wanga, any bus companies flouting the order will face legal consequences. Wanga said that the buses will have to seek alternative stations outside CBD to reduce congestion.
