Breaking News: President Kenyatta Rejects Five Judges Who Stopped BBI Reggae

President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed 34 judges and rejected 6 out of the 41 judges presented by the Judicial Service Commission in 2019.

Rejected are: Justice Professor Joel Ngugi, Justice Chacha Mwita and Justice George Odunga, who were all part of the five-judge bench that dismissed BBI document as unconstitutional thereby stopping reggae.

This dramatic development is the strongest indication that the President was angered by the decision of the Judges to retire BBI after more than 14 billion Kenyan shillings was spent on the BBI process.

Secondly, the move confirms that the President is on a revenge mission “to teach the judges a lesson” following their judgement which completely caught the President with his pants down.

With this development, it is clear that the five Judges acted against the will of the pro-BBI ruling class aka “the deep state”.

It is also the strongest indication that the the pro-BBI ruling class will utilize every available means to ensure that reggae continues.

The stoppage of reggae was widely celebrated by anti-BBI enthusiasts mainly drawn from the Tangatanga aka hustler bandwagon.

Although the President’s move will, no doubt, be criticised by his opponents, it is the clearest indication that the judgement which stopped reggae will be overturned either by the Appeal Court or by the Supreme Court.

It is notable that the Supreme Court is being headed by a pro-ruling class, pro-BBI Chief Justice who is unlikely to disappoint his bosses should the BBI matter reach her desk.
